Dr. David P. Dorn, VMD
David P Dorn, V.M.D. has owned West Liberty Animal Hospital for over thirty years. Dr. Dorn is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He also served as an Intern in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of California at Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Dr. Dorn has a special interest in exotic animals and patients include ferrets, rabbits, small mammals, birds and reptiles.
Dr. Dorn has had Doberman Pinschers and German Shepherds over the years and currently Rory and Watson share their household with their three cats, Piper, Butters and Scampers. His hobbies include soccer, biking, skiing and scuba diving.
Technicians

Brittney C.
Brittney grew up in Pittsburgh on the north side her entire life. She graduated from PCI in 2015, and started at West Liberty Animal Hospital in 2015. She has 2 children, a daughter and a son, who are her entire world. She has 3 dogs (Philly, Rico, and Clyde), a rabbit (Ding Dong), and a tortoise (Strawberry).

Rose R. (O.G.)
Rose grew up in Scott, attended Vet Tech Institute, and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has worked at West Liberty Animal Hospital since 2015. She has always had a passion for working with animals and helping their owners. She has a special interest/love for rabbits and birds, and shares her life with a dog, parakeet, and crested gecko.

Tammy F.
Tammy is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and grew up in Mt. Washington. She turned her lifelong passion into a career in 2008, working for 9 years in shelter medicine.
She transitioned into private practice in 2017 and has been working for WLAH ever since. She lives with her husband and is the proud mother of 2 fur-babies, all rescued from the shelter. Tammy has 1 cat, Cozmo, along with 1 small dog (shhh... don't tell him) Reggie. In her free time, she loves any type of outdoor activity and going on overnight paranormal investigations.

Rose W. (Little Rose)
Rose graduated from Pittsburgh Career Institute in 2019 with an associates degree in specialized technology. Since a young age Rose has always known that she had a passion for bettering the lives of animals and their owners. Rose began her journey with animals as a vet tech at WLAH in 2019 where she discovered her affinity for reptiles. Rose currently has 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 rat, 4 snakes, 1 tarantula, and 4 geckos.

Laura B.
Laura grew up in Pennsylvania and prior to becoming a vet tech she served in the coast guard for 2 years. While spending time on the ocean, she discovered her passion for marine life and exotic animals. Laura attended school in Pittsburgh at VTI, and was hired at WLAH in 2020 after completing her externship. Laura lives at home with her two cats, Trigger and Rebel. In her free time Laura loves designing jewelry and growing fruit and veggies in her garden.

Nicole P.
Nicole grew up in Mt. Lebanon and is currently attending school at the University of Connecticut. She is studying animal science on a pre-vet track and has plans to attend veterinary school in the future. Nicole has been working here at WLAH since October of 2020, her senior year of high school, and comes back to work during her summers. When she is not working or in school, Nicole spends her free time going on hikes with her boxer dog, Mocha.
